St. Gerard Catholic High School is a co-educational secondary school located on the eastside of San Antonio, serving a multicultural and multi-faith student body, open to all regardless of socio-economic status.

The purpose of St. Gerard Catholic High School, San Antonio, Texas, is to offer a quality education in the Catholic tradition, continuing the legacy of Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of San Antonio, which began in 1851, under the leadership of the Ursuline Sisters – and continues today. Proclaiming the message of Jesus Christ is the first and foremost mission of our school, as well as offering an enhanced academic program for students grades 9 – 12. We align ourselves with this purpose, united with other Catholic schools of higher learning in our diocese, nation and world, spreading the message of Jesus to our students and, in essence, spreading His message to all those we meet on our faith journey.

St. Gerard Catholic High School is accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Commission (TCCED) and hold membership in the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA).
